The Reinforced Earth Company (RECO) has been engaged by Jacobs Engineering Group to design 1340sqm of TerraMet® dump wall to the Nui Phao Mine in Vietnam.  In addition, the Nui Phao Mining Company awarded RECO with the supply of the materials for this project.  

The mine is located approximately 80km northwest of the Vietnamese capital Hanoi and approximately 150km south of Vietnam’s northern border with China.  

Reinforced Earth™ have finalised designs for the Nui Phao Mining project while the manufacture of materials is scheduled to be completed by the beginning of February 2012.  Materials will then be shipped to Vietnam for a construction start date of March 2012 in order to complete the project before the start of the southwest monsoon season.
